Sutra Dress | No. 01

$395.00

Olive Bandhani

A fluid, maxi-length silhouette defined by a sculptural twist at the center of the body. Cut in a modal silk blend, the Sutra Dress falls softly from the waist, balanced by voluminous sleeves and a subtle opening through the bodice.

Each piece is individually tied and dyed using the centuries-old tradition of Bandhani, leaving behind the small resist-dyed motifs characteristic of the craft. The earthy olive tone gives this colorway a quiet depth, with subtle variations that reveal the hand of the process.

Named for the Sanskrit word sūtra — thread. A reference to the threads that form a garment, the traditions carried through them, and the ones that lead us home.
