Olive Bandhani
A fluid, maxi-length silhouette defined by a sculptural twist at the center of the body. Cut in a modal silk blend, the Sutra Dress falls softly from the waist, balanced by voluminous sleeves and a subtle opening through the bodice.
Each piece is individually tied by hand before dyeing, creating the small resist-dyed motifs characteristic of Bandhani. Marigold dye, modified with iron, creates its earthy olive tone, with subtle variations in colour and pattern from piece to piece.
Named for the Sanskrit word sūtra — thread. A reference to the threads that form a garment, the traditions carried through them, and the ones that lead us home.
